Elias Monroe
Venture Partner
Elias is a repeat robotics founder and deeptech operator who now helps early-stage hardware teams go from prototype to product. He previously built two robotics companies — one in agriculture, one in last-mile delivery — and has advised spinouts from Stanford and ETH Zurich on productization and fundraising.
His background includes hardware design, embedded systems, and robotics infrastructure. He’s intimately familiar with the challenges of real-world deployment — from power budgets and mechanical tolerances to the economics of field support.
As a Venture Partner at VentureCapital, Elias works hands-on with our robotics and hardtech portfolio companies. He supports founders with architecture reviews, supplier strategy, GTM modeling, and technical storytelling. Think of him as a technical coach, a sparring partner, and a translator between vision and execution.
Fun Fact:
Once raced his autonomous drone against a falcon — and lost gloriously.
